Family Owned and Operated Since 2003
PeCO Sign Co was established in 2003 by Dan and Jennifer Van Waes, starting up as a Ebay seller of trade show displays. Over the years the business has expanded to a full-service sign shop but still family owned and operated. After pursuing a college degree and working in the pharmaceutical industry for over 10 years, Mr. Van Waes, an entrepreneur in spirit, chose to leave his full-time job to run PeCO. The business that began in their home was then moved to a new location, and thus began his entrepreneurial journey. PeCo is in it's 20th year of business and continues to expand into markets, having recently added vehicle wraps to its offerings. Jennifer Van Waes came to PeCo full time in 2019, after a thirty year career in education. She started her career at Murray State University as an academic advisor to low-income students, but soon moved up to direct a grant program for several school districts in the area. In the later years, she worked as a math curriculum specialist. After retiring, Jennifer chose to spend her retirement at PeCO, developing design skills and using her managerial expertise for marketing and technical efforts. Clifton Van Waes, son of Jennifer and Dan, joined the business in 2020. Clifton is a graduate of Murray High School and a member of the Army National Guard. Clifton brings technical expertise and a youthful approach to our business goals. His goal is to become 3M certified to enhance the vehicle wrap division and continue to provide excellent design and installation for our customers.
